I'm back from Los Cabos Mexico with some images captured with the E-1.

I have to say, i took a sunset cruise where when we hit the Pacific Ocean the waves almost turned that little raft over. I got soaked, but the E-1 kept firing. In fact they had to pull me out of the front of the boat. I cleaned my glasses off and told them to get me back out there.

Here are a few of hundreds. I carried the E-1 with the 11-22mm 50mm f/2 and the 180mm f/2.8

Here the second to the last image is myself driving the boat on in.

All posted in the next link.

'January 18, 2002 should forever be remembered as The Day Photography Died. As of that day, the Olympus OM System, which single-handedly defined late 20th century camera design, is no more. Joe,

As expected, all are great. I'm especially drawn the the image of the man reading the newspaper in the mall. Please don't tell me that you hand held that 1" exposure! :-)

Ah, Joe, it isn't just something about Baltimore that gives your photos a special quality of color and light after all; these are stunning. You have a signature "look" that so lovely to look at, and these could easily be in any travel magazine (National Geographic anyone?).

Did you use any filters?

I've never been down to Cabo, but it sure looks like Gringo marketing to me...the American traveler sure must be perceived as a good time party animal...a gorgeous land, but a gaudy bunch of commercial venues (though I'm sure there are some lovely, low key places there as well).

Your fan,
Lory

What else could I possibly say to add to that. The E-1 is a master and the pictures it takes reflect this. Joe - was that "blonde" part of your entourage, or was she your "lovely?" You devil you...

Thanks lory, I haven't heard from you in a while.

Those colors that you like are all the E-1. I can't take credit for them. These images are all shq jpegs. The camera does all my post processing. I just do minor tweaking.

I have quite a few cameras, but I choose the E-1 for this trip because of the colors.

Thanks for popping in and don't be a stranger.

That iguana was a favorite of mine too. I went to a bull fight, and I have tons of nice images of horses too.

I paid the guy 4 pesos to photograph that Iguana.
All great, Joe. Really liked the rocky coastline shot - the water
is unbelievable! Also, the iguana hangin' out in the sombrero.

Big Ben, Kpasa Amigo ;-)

I was walking through the harbor when I saw her. I had to photograph her. I asked my girlfriend to ask the young lady in spanish if I could get her picture and her phone number. I shared with you all the photograph, but I'm keeping the number to myself!

I'm about to get that one printed and framed. That was a great photo opportunity. I'm just glad I happen to be there, with the right lens (50mm f/2)
These are great pics! My fav is the lizard with sombrero! :)
