Is there a visible difference between printing on glossy and printing on prremium glossy. Thanks

There isn't any standardization in terms of what glossy, premium glossy, pearl, satin, matte, etc. mean, so you really need to get down to details (ie, is there a difference between xyz glossy and xyz premium glossy on printer foobar). What I generally do is buy sample packs of paper, and try it myself.
 
Both the Epson Premium Glossy and Glossy plus the new UltraPremium Glossy are mainly designed for dye ink although the Premium and Ultra Premium perform well with K3 ink and in the R800 and R1800 with the GLOP applied.

The Epson Glossy was once known as Epson Photo Paper.If I remember correctly when the photo paper setting was chosen in my 1290 driver it used the most ink compared to choosing a different paper in the driver.
