Thought I've never seen this kind of animation for the Canon IS system, I have seen "slideshow" like Flash presentations that show essentially the same operation for Canon lenses.

If anything, the Canon stabilizer lens looked even simpler, a single element instead of a two element group as shown in the Kodak design.

Panasonic has a pretty cool animation showing how the Mega OIS
works on the upcoming Leica lens.

It's much simpler than I thought. Only need to move one tiny lens
element. I wonder if Canon's IS works the same way.
