Customer service. Have you tried using your customer service, I had my new FPD2185W monitor go out on me yesterday. I called at 10:30 am and talked to your service rep Marsha, very nice guy but did not have a clue on how to repair or trouble shoot a damn thing. After 1 hour with him he transferred me to another person, NOT!!! I was put on hold and then disconnected after another 25 minutes of waiting. I returned the call and talked to another rep went through the whole damn process again and Freddie didn’t have a clue after an hour I asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold and again after 15 minutes I was disconnected. I called back and reached a person who said I have been calling the wrong number and gave me a new number to call. The number I was given is on the top of my receipt, why give me a number that is the wrong number? I called again, I now have almost 3 hour invested and no luck, I get the next support agent and we spend 2 hours and 35 minutes on the telephone doing the exact same thing I have done with the other customer service reps. He gives me a service number 2-2114833XXX, I called this morning I wait 14 minutes ask to speak to a supervisor and again I was disconnected, I have been on hold now for 15 minutes and still no service representative. I have 4 of your computers and I can guarantee that my next purchase will not be a Gateway. Back to my problem about my monitor nobody knows how to reload the monitor to make it work in VGA or DVI. I go on the internet do a search and there are pages of people having the same problem as I am having and yet your support has no idea what is going on, WHY? I am now up to 22 minutes and counting of waiting to speak to a rep. What kind of company are you running? Are you not interested in any customer satisfaction? 10 days later and no response from Gateway and I have the 3 year onsite warranty--worthless
