Interesting question....I have yet to remove mine and I've had my camera almost 3 weeks! One day I tried to grab a corner but my fingernails were too short :-( Hmmmmmmm. I've already bought 5 128 mb cards and 4 filters so I guess I'm pretty committed. Ok, I've decided that I will wait for it (the label) to lift off on an edge and then I'll finish the job!

You forgot about the extra menu buttons behind the sticker. Color saturation, programable white balance options, LEVBFS fix and BFS fix buttons. Take it off, whole new world with the extra buttons. Heck I programmed some of those buttons to turn on my tv and dvd player!

Go for it, rip it off and enjoy the undocumented features of the 707!!

Good Idea...If you lived in Canada you have to take the stickers off or the government will send people in dark suits to extrude your Cocker Spaniel through a Sewer Grate...it's the Law ! hehehehee...

my vote is obviously take it off as i took the sticker off on Friday, October 12, within 30 seconds of taking the camera out of the box. i hate stickers like that one. reminds of badges on cars that say ABS, 4WD, V6, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes etc. who the h-e-double hockey sticks cares. at least you can take the stickers off a camera.

I really like such deep debates in between the usual "which camera bag should I get" post.

When your sure your going to keep it, or it gets past the allowed return date, rip it off!
