It always amazes me that people are not only dishonest but they are proud of it. I could only hope that your 30D is a bad copy.

How do you go to sleep at night?

... I will not be buying anything technology-related at Costco!
I don't think they would restock something like that. The good thing about Costco is their very generous return policy (basically it's satisfaction guaranteed or money refunded) but some people do take advantage and when too many people do that, like what happened with computers (some were constantly "upgrading" to the next faster model) Costco will clamp down. In the case of computers I think the return policy was changed to 6 months, which is still very generous.

Especially Costco which as private employers go is pretty good to their employees. If you just must screw somebody at least you could pick some more deserving target.

sure..it takes a little balls to do that...and i can freely criticze as well...but my bottomline is i'm just a little jealous since i didn't buy mine...and costco doesn't really care..
It's Costco's return policy. Get over it. If Costco doesn't like
it, they'll change their policy. You guys act like he manupulated
his receipt or lied to somebody.

Agreed. That's a pretty damn slimey thing to do.
I also agree. This is an outrageous abuse of Costco's generous return policy.

Fudd used the 20D since June 05 and then returned it to Costco last week claiming he wasn't "100% satisfied" after the 30D came out. Spin it whatever way you want, but that's just plain old dishonesty.

But the most perverse aspect to me is that he actually sounds proud of his little scam. Furthermore, he wants the world to know about it.

It's shameful.

1) slept well

2) I am honest, if theis one infraction makes we a bad person and I got to hell then I am sure I will be at the end of a long line to get in. Just every once and a while I get tires of being taken advantage of buy the crappy system we have here in the US.
3) do not tell me there is a halo around your head
