You have some great shots on your pbase site!(Walking on water). I still struggle with the sharpening at times. Can't really apply a standard procedure as it varies so much from shot to shot depending on subject and how clean the shot is. Much easier on the low ISO stuff and gets a lot trickier as the ISO increases.
