Reading mode: Light Dark

Photoshop hack to support 30D RAW

I assume a similar hack can be done for the Rebel-XT. Have you done this or do you know of anyone who has? Can both the 30D and the Rebel-XT fixes be done at the same time? TIA
 
Your menthod shows PS CS 2. Can I do the same thing on CS (1)?

Looks like im alittle stuck on this.

At the section that says create a file in the PhotoshopCS(2) Presets/Scripts which type of file do i create.
Sorry if this sounds a little dumb,
 
It works great... I have only one remark...... I had problems after doing copy and paste, because the quotes were different from the standard ones (they were opening and closing quotes), maybe my firefox did something wrong. I kept getting syntax errors, until I went to the original script and gcopied from there....

But it works.

I tried to cut and paste the section to the new folder inscripts but it wont letm me paste it I can paste it to an e-mail but not the folder

Thank you I made a text file and names it Unofficial30DSupport.txt and placed it in the Unofficial30DSupport.js file in scripts it then says to run the script? sorry I'm a puter moron lol

Previously I owned 300D and Photoshop Element (Avialable at that time) was handeling Raw Files of 10D only.

At that time, with some one's advise, I could edit the software and make it work for 300D raw file.

I've had problems with the quotes as mentioned by others, replaced all incorrect quotes with " and it did the hack. Problem though, raw files still don't load. I've restarted PS but still doesn't recognize the format.

The script replaces a reference to 1D Mark II with 30D in the plugin file. Does that mean that the two cameras are supposed to use the same raw format?
 
Sorry for the trouble everyone here is a working version if you want to just download it

and save this file in your scripts directory as pointed above
 
I just copied it from the original source (from Antoine's blog) and replaced 20D with 30D in the script, but he has now placed a link directly to the js file.
