R1 Speaker

Page 16 in the manual (right column) defines item No.7 as Speaker. That's the only and single word in the manual about the "Speaker".

What's its function? Is that where the camera sounds (when enabled) are generated?

I remember when I read that in the user manual, I got excited thinking that, contrary to the preview reports, the camera really did have audio and probably video, but I was disappointed to realize that it was just a speaker for the shutter sounds and beeps.

I can't also find in the Manual the B exposure option. Weird.

I believe the speaker is being underutilized. Maybe with the next firmware update they can have a little fella talking out there, with suggestions on shots we're taking. "Hey buddy, think might want to up the shutter speed on this one."

hey Yehuda! the Bulb mode is actually called TIME shooting and is defined on the bottom of page 39 of the manual.

also the speaker is mentioned again on the specs. page 128 and called a "dynamic speaker". lol!

Perfectly correct. Not very informative, though, isn't it?

Look as if you know the Manual by heart so may I ask: Can you see a mention in it for the SHORTEST shutter speed?
