The last two sessions I have photographed on an all white
background have resulted in an area on the left side of the image
tinged green as well. Vertical images resulted in the green
appearing in the same location of the vertical frame as it appeared
in the horizontal when the camera was used in landscape
orientation. Some weird, wacky stuff! Have you noticed the green
cast with backgrounds that are high key and strongly lit from
behind? I am wondering if it could be something to do with the rear
lens multi coating reflecting onto the sensor. I don't seem to
notice it in outdoor images at all. Just indoors on a white
background. It's not difficult to remove really. Just a bit of
post production adjustments in photoshop. Annoying at most.
Questions or comments?
Thanks,
unfortunately i d o retain my green cast even outdoors.......it's also there when shutter is released without a lens on........and yes it shifts when images are rotated on monitor........other digital capture images do not show when presented on screen f rom customer downloaded images.....also it's there regardless of lens used.......... and sometimes not the simpleist actions to remove later from a rather large photoshoot..........thanks for your time and info.....
