Some have suggested that the Olympus C-2100UZ is a better buy for the money.

Saw the 2800z yesterday at Wolfe Camera; price was comparable to what i paid for my C-2100z ($400). Bit small for my hand - nice EVF - no clue as to image quality. Think i'll keep my UZi

Yesterday I ordered a 2800z from an online retailer for $309.00. The same site lists the Olympus for $633.00 but currently out of stock. I'll let you know what I think of the Fuji once it arrives. This will be my first digital camera. I've used Nikon SLRs for years.The Olympus is $850 more than the 2800z!Some have suggested that the Olympus C-2100UZ is a better buy for

How about some movie-clips?
How do you like the macro?
It would be interesting to see a shot of a ruler with max macro.
I'd also like to see shots where you first use no zoom and then 6x zoom in order to get an impression of the zoom capability of this camera.
