Since this is not an "N" model, I guess it's the discontinued one?

Don't they have to say it's discontinued?

They have actually had it listed last month, but as you have pointed out it is hardly a bargain.

we don't have any costcos in my area....only sams club...what
exactly is the return policy that sets it above
others....thanks....also, and does it apply to online orders
Costco has a "100% satisfaction" no-hassle, full refund return policy. The time limit is 6 months from the date of purchase for all desktop and notebook computers, but I don't think there is any set time limit for other products. And yes, this applies to online orders too.

Wow, I need to buy my camera's from this store. The way I change them I would never have to spend money on a new camera ever again!

Well IMHO the return policy just makes them a trusted and good buisness to deal with even though they charge a membership fee.

The price of the camera is still the price of the camera, and when you factor in the membership fee , you are paying a premium for a model that has since been upgraded.

I suppose if you just joined in order to buy that camera and never buy anything else from them you could factor it in but otherwise it wouldn't be much of a factor, it would just be amortized over the 12 month membership period. I shop there maybe 3 or 4 times a month and on average my bill is probably $100 each trip. I certainly don't apply the membership fee to each item I purchchase.
