I'm replacing my Panasonic FX7 since it's LCD broke and I can't get myself to buy the FX8/9 even though I really liked the camera. So since I have a 20d, I figure I should give canon's point and shoots a try.
So far, I'm liking it a lot. I hate that there's no last shot review button, but I got over that fast. The LCD is a but weird... it changes exposure quite often. Almost makes me feel like I'm looking throw a TV rather than the real world. Is there anyway to change that?
The flash is the best I've had so for on a compact camera so that's good. Colors are just as good as the panasonic. Another odd thing I noticed is that the auto rotate is a little screwy. Sometimes it will rotate horizontal photos to vertical.
Is this something I need to be worried about?
And when reviewing the photos through the camera, I really like the way it goes from photo to photo. Very slide-show like.
