F707 available in France

Hello,
The F707 is available in France !
I've got mine yesterday.
The cost ? 9262 FF with an extended 2-years warranty
The location ? Espace Sony/Alifax in Paris.

The first feelings ? The beast looks very impressive (referring to my old S70) , very well build. The ergonomy also has been improved by far.

One regret : the remaining charge time is no more displayed, it was very usefull because this time is long... Why not put the display on the charger itself ?

Do you know how much they got in stock ?
It takes 2 days for delivery ?

It is the battery symbol display on the upper left ? (on my F505V) who
display the Remaining time of the battery ?
(Because I see it on the Phil's reviews

Do you notice, that the prices of Memory Stick fell ?

yes, the standard ones : battery, charger, 16M memorystick, cables (refer to the site for more details)

Do you know how much they got in stock ?

I don't know exactly, they said that it is "sufficient". But it is just available for 3 days, and I was about the 15th....

It takes 2 days for delivery ?

Yes, 2 or 3 days in France

Yes, I was speaking about the time for recharging the battery (on the S70 this time was displayed in real time on the LCD screen). The battery symbol & the remaining time are still there in normal operation

Yes, at Alifax they are not expensive but at FNAC ???? (is it a joke??)

Je suis dans la region parisienne - Pour moi ca valait le coup de faire le deplacement a Paris !!

Il y a egalement un autre magasin interessant : concurrence.fr mais ils vendent exclusivement sur place.

Just checked their web site, the price was 1142 Euros, thats approx £880 English Pounds, not too bad a price. Do you know if the 707 is available across Europe or is France the first the launch?

Seems that this time we are more lucky in France...I went to german sites, it seems not to be available yet and the price seems to be the same (which is not the case usually)
