Have any of you Nikon D1x or Kodak 760 owners tried using your cameras on a slide duplicating rig (Chroma Pro, Beseler, etc) as an alternative to a multi-format transparency scanner? Does it work?--Bill Pogue

Well, almost..

I have used a DCS 660 on the Beseler slide duper about a year and a half ago.. It worked very well!

I felt it was overkill, since I could create my own click balance setting for the camera, I didn't really need the strobe from the Beseler rig. So I ended up just using a copy stand with a small Just light box. This is what I use now.. It works great!

Where can you get a good copy stand to use with the D1x and how much should it cost?
