Just bought me a 70-300 DO IS

It's lovely, kind of dwarfs my 350D though.

It's beautiful, nice quality,real quick focus and nice sharp images. Can't wait to take it to nepal with me.
Does any one else own this lens?
Are you as pleased with it as me?

Bought it a week ago. Very pleased with its quality. Only Canon lens that came with a hood and case . The IS mechanism is bit louder than that of 17-85IS though. I tried it with an extension tube for close ups and the results are excellent for a zoom lens. Have not had a chance yet to go out and take some long shots.

I have this lens and love it.

I have taken many pictures of my daughters Rugby and soccer games. At the sports banquet, they used my pics for the power point presentation!

I am happy with it. I was at my partner's son's HS grad last night. I was able to get pictures from about 70 feet away from our seats without getting mixed up with the mob of parents in the main aisle.

My other lens is the 17-85 IS.
