G2 - USB and CF simultaneously?

Hello,

I don't have a G2 yet but I would like to know if I can run USB out from the camera and record to CF card at the same time. I don't vhs video in on the computer I will be using so I would have to add that capability.

I don't want to record directly to hard disk, it's too slow for what I'm doing - RAW images. I plan to use an IBM microdrive.

Reread Phil's review, the section on Remote Capture. This should do what you want. Your computer will see real time what the camera is doing and will take pics too. This capability is substantially enhanced over the G1.
