POLL - Is the 300D/Xt your first SLR (Digital or Film)

but my 3rd SLR over all, I still have a practika B100 (wonderfull glass for that, all Carl Ziess optics yummy), also have a Canon 650

Moved my digital work from Fujifilm s602Z Pro was an ok camera, some really nice features and a great macro mode (marred by barral distortion) only thing I felt let down on was picture quality, was billed a 6mp but it was interpolated so images were soft and prone to artifacts and it could only shoot in Jpeg or tiff 9tiffs being 18MB at 6mp

XT is my first SLR. Dropped and killed my Canon S70. Had a Canon Elph 110 before that. I couldn't be happier with my XT.

I own an Elan IIe and have used Canon AE-1 and A-1 bodies in the past.

THe 300D is the second digital camera I ever bought. The Canon S100 was my first, which in turn was an upgrade from a film Canon APS camera (which is still my favorite P&S film camera due to small size, despite using APS film format).

SLRs: Pentax K-1000 > Canon AT-1 (which I still have and use!)

dSLRs: Olympus D600 > Canon DR350

I had a cheapie Kodak CX-6200 that I used for a brief while and gave to the in-laws. The D600 was not a bad camera except for horrible low-light performance, but now just old and limited technology.

Love love love the 350 in comparison.

Sigma 18-200mm lens... just could not resist

I had no film SLR experience. My first taste of manual control (TV, AV, etc.) was with the A70. I gave away the A70 and upgraded to A80 (also bought an S410).
