Best setup for epson875dc&photoshop6

Well at one time I was very close to seeing in ps6 on the screen the same picture as was printed. I got some settings changed around. I tweeked the wrong things and now I am into expensive trial and error to find an algorith and settings that give me accurate colours.
Can anyone give me a good starting point and some suggestions?
