100/100

Good shots. I am going back to Taiwan and Hong Kong later this year so hope I can catch you then. You have a studio in Taipei? BTW What flash unit do you use?

Hey Darren

I will definitely contact you. In the mean time, I will tell my friends in Taiwan to look out for a foreign guy with a Pentax DSLR so they can post better for the camera. You said in one of your post that the LumiQuest is better than Stofen. Can you elaborate? I am pondering right now so need some clarification.

Thanks

Others on this forum have mentioned this as well, but if I am using the Stofen, I get badly overexposed photos unless I also use the built in wide angle diffuser in the flash. When I do that, the results are fine. I just worry that I am losing too much light firing through two diffusers, so I stick with the Lumiquest.

For god's sake....SLOW DOWN... you don't want to wreck your shutter
do you?? :D
Thanks Jack. Actually, I think my shutter is safer than yours. A
lot of days, I will have only taken 2 or 3 shots, most often it is
less than 12. Didn't I read a little while back that you have
taken over 10 000 shots since November? I am at about 11 000 after
a full year. I whither in your shadows ;)
[blushing].......but wait, you have the quality whereas I only have the
quantity :(
I will keep my eyes open for your customer :)
Morning Darren,

FWIW, his first name is Sean and, poor lad, simply came in wanting to
look at a backpack for his trip and walked with a little more gear than
that but gear that I think will make his travels more (photographically)
enjoyable...........................hopefully.

:D

Darren,

I went back to your gallery to see what it look like now when the last month of the year is here. Last time I wrote:

"Oh dear, oh well. Let's see how long he can keep that promise... a week?" I'm totally satisfied with beeing so totally wrong."

I'm still totally wrong and after having looked thru your autumn pictures I'm still truly satisfied with beeing wrong! Now with one little month to go you'll soon have achieved a great performance. Well, you have allready.

Thank you for showing your work, I really appreciate it.

Jonas

Wow,

Thanks Jonas. I have to admit, I was totally shocked to see this one come up at the top of the new threads. Yes, I have made it so far and with just one month to go, I think I will cross the line. It has been fun and challenging.

Won't be doing it next year though; sometimes it is just too much to have hanging over my head everyday as I wake up.

Thanks again
