Hi folks,

A travel agent in Brunei has engaged me to shoot their outbound
tours and my first assignment with them is a trip to China from Dec
8 to 16 covering Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi and Hangzhou. The galleries
can be viewed here http://www.janshim.com/china/travel/index.htm

All images were shot with the 20D and 24-70mm f2.8 L lens with a
few exceptions on the 17-40 f4.0 L. We were there for 9 days and I
had my notebook with me the whole time so each day I would use one
1GB SanDisk Ultra II CF each day.

I hope you enjoy the images.

The above is less than average. Such pictures or even better you will get with for example Panasonic FZ20 for the fraction of the EOS20D+lenses price.
Still wondering if EOS20D is right way to go...

I'm not sure if you meant the picture quality or composition or both were less than average. If you're looking for images to help you decide on whether the 20D is right for you or not, this isn't the place. Phil's fantastic and elaborate reviews should be sufficiently geared towards people who are making comparisons. I started shooting with my 300D and after a year, moved to a 20D while keeping the 300D as a back-up. I enjoy the speed of the 20D very much over my 300D but would use the 300D any day when I'm shooting leisurely.

Thank you for stopping by.
