Dividing a photo into 12 parts...

With Photoshop, how can I divide a photo into 12 equal parts and save as 12 jpg's. I found a java script that lets you move them around and reassemble them but I can't figure out an easy way to divide the picture up.

Photoshop version 6 has a "slicing" tool, usually used to cut up a photo for web display -- perhaps it could be used for this. But as far as I know, it doesn't automatically divide into equal pieces...
