A very nice 20d image !

...recently I did a similar shot, not as good as yours maybe but nice enough in any case. However, I did clone off a mole off the model's face. It wasn't a big one, just a spot, but I got rid of it....just a couple of mouse clicks.

The model was nice enough about it, (she maybe didn't have much choice), but I could tell she was terribly offended.

I'm a little curious how other people handle something like this.

is a gadget to do a custom white balance. You hold it in front of your lens in MF, take a shot in the direction of the light source, return the lens to AF, and then import that image as your CWB. It works well. You only need the size to cover the center of your lens. It's not necessary to cover the whole lens.

If the marking is sufficiently prominent to detract from the overall picture I just repeatedly clone a near area over it with say 15-20% transparency until it's no longer the first thing that grabs your attention. I would never completely remove such a mark unless all parties specifically asked for this.

Jan,

Very nice shot. Tell us more about the setting please and what you did for lighting.

Thanks!

For people in certain ethnic group (specifically Chinese), mole at some area of a female's face enhances her beauty. Indeed, it is called "mole of a beauty"!
