I have totally worn out the manual that came with my 828. I have seen mention of several manuals on this forum concering the 828 but I'm still not sure of which most of the folks feel is the most complete. What is your opinion of the best "828 Bible"?

Since I bought my camera used, I didn't get a manual at all. So I downloaded the manual direct from Sony; printed it out on 8x11 sheets and then put them all in sheet protectors and have the manual in a 3-ring binder. Granted I can't take it with me, but it's much easier for me to read at my age and eye sight. Yes, I'm constantly going through mine looking up various things, so I think the big thing is the sheet protectors.

R.Hepburn. Nice going, Treven. I have done the same thing and because I am a 'young' oldster with some eyesight deficiency, I., too, have printed up a lot of material and put in a binder for easier reading. Good advice

Thanks a bunch guys, I just dove in and took all of your advice. Just downloaded the 828 manual in PDF format and printed it on full size paper, WOW, I can even read it without my reading glasses. Also ordered the Sony ebook V2 and the short course. That will certainly give me something to do for several evenings (months).
