Show us who you are and your home!

Which lake do you live on, Noreen?

I lived on Cherokee in East Tennesee (still keep a boat there) for many years and sure do miss the mornings and evenings there.

Your home is beautiful and your mom looks like a great lady. Wonderful photos!

Regards,

****:)

Hey Jim T.,

I noticed you have a CPAP apparatus, probably for sleep apnea. I was just diagnosed in the last two months also. My sleep disorder study was highly positive; I quit breathing more than 400 times in 7.5 hours. I am on Setting 13 (i guess that means p.s.i.), which is much higher than most people. My health is not doing real good right now, but I'm hanging in there. For pets, we have a Jack Russsell Terrier named Napoleon and a fat cat named Cleopatra.

I can't add any of my pictures; I've never tried posting pictures before. But I didn't think there would be any problems to do it. I've tried every way that I can think of with no luck!! Somebody please share the key with me. Please!!??

Hi Glen,

I had the same problem some month ago, I think the most important thing to know is you first have to get your pictures to some public site like PBase before you can show them in your messages.

But I suggest you just use the search function here in this forum, "Posting pictures", and you will find a whole bunch of answers. I think Bill Huber explained it pretty good some time ago.

I was diagnosed 5 years ago. I think the setting "13" is centimetres of water pressure, 13 psi would be a lot. Mine is a meagre 9cm water setting. I had an average of 37 events per minute, so I was struggling as well. I am doing better and really can even nap without strapping on the apparatus. I'm scheduled for a re-test in Dec. My health isn't great since besides the sleep apnea my blood pressure supposedly peaks while I'm sleeping instead of dropping back.

Yes Oscar the mini-daschund loves to snuggle under the covers with anyone that leaves the door open.

Rene I love your cabin!
So do I, Pitter, thank you! Great place to forget about Monday to Friday, glad my Grandfather got it built 70 years ago.

If you want to have a look at my "Smokey Eifel" message, there are some pictures of the trees around.

Thanks Pitter! (by the way, Pitter sounds like our local slang name from Peter, are you German?).

Pitter,

if someone says he loves my cabin, I thought he must have something like it, so I just had a look at yours in cload forest (didn´t read the whole thread before): Beautiful house, really! And a very beautiful "she", also!
Where is cload forest?

...and my husband was born in Crossville....he also lived in one of the homesteads at one time. I thought it might be interesting to do a series of shots of them....but there are very many! ....200 plus I believe....

Thanks for both compliments Rene. The house needs paint and some remodeling but anyway it's up in the mountains outside Cali, Colombia repleat with monkeys, tucans and orchids in the trees.

Jake,

Baylor and a sweetheart of a girlfriend.... man you have nothing to be sorry about at all.....

Of course, a picture of one of those wild college parties would probably suffice.....

Enjoy,

Glen,

If you don't have a public place to host the pictures, feel free to send them to my email above and I'll be glad to post them here for you.

Glen,

Before you decide you need to buy another service like pBase, call your internet service provider (the folks you pay to be on the internet) and ask them if you have free webspace. In this day and time most all internet service providers give users at least 10 megs of web space - and that is a lot, trust me.

No need to buy something else if your internet provider is already giving you web space that you simply need to learn how to upload your photos to. Many users don't know they get webspace with their internet account, and believe it or not most everyone that is paying a bill to connect to the internet has been allotted many megabytes of webspace which is included with their connection to the net.

Get frugal like me and take advantage of what is already yours to use! Once you learn that you have the space and your internet provider tells you how to upload your photos to it, it's easy sailing from there as everyone all this forum can tell you how to connect those uploaded photos to any message you post in this Olympus forum.

So make a phone call first before you decide to pay extra for something you've already got!
