Puffins in New Brunswick

I shot these last week with D 70 / D100 and a Nikon 70-300

I went from Cutler ME with Capt. Andy Patterson.

Very nice, I especially like the first pic, never seen a puffin that close up before. Well done.

What were your settings for these shots? (and the lighting conditions....looks like a rather gray day) Kirk

Yeah it was some what grey. When we left Maine the fog was heavy and it was dark. At Seal Island the fog was starting to lift I set the camera Program and just shot. So the the camera just took over, we were passing the camera around between my wife and children so I did not want to do anything but program.
