All pretty true to various extents, and there's absolutely nothing that's going to change it. This forum is essentially unmoderated except for the most eggregious offenses. Everyone here has their own vision of how it should be run. Some want talk kept strictly to technical camera specifics, others prefer to explore general photography technique, others like to share their images and comment on others. There's no way we're all going to agree, so the best we can do is agree to disagree and just skip over the threads and posters that don't fit what we want to get out of this place.

I seriously doubt any of us come here to constantly debate what we should or shouldn't be doing here.

The latter forum would welcome posts from anyone who had passed through Olympus Talk land on their way to bigger and most expensive things. :-) Images from N-thingys and D-thingys wouldn't matter. Newcomers who understand the "spirit" that Olympus Talk has over other forums would be welcome as well, even if their camera only uses memory sticks. :-)

The only reason you felt "offended" was because of ALL the other stuff I said. You're one of the people that have to hear themselves talk. You can think of yourself as one of the people this post is absolutely directly aimed at.

You replied to my post, but only quoted Theresa, so I can't tell if you were talking to me or her.

For the record, I never said I was offended, only that Theresa had a right to be.

To make things simpler though, just consider me among the offended. It's better company to be associated with.

You surely aren't really suggesting that there should be any changes here at the OLY Family Album Circle Chat Room?
