Thanks andy, i probably introduced more noise than was there by way of the conversion.. I used the double Hue/Saturation layer technique to make it B&W. I love the details in all the grasses though! 8 megapixels at work.. gotta love it.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!Well done (was it on auto nightshot???)We want
the rest!!!!!!!Onya Andre!!!
Thanks! it wasn't that late.. it was about 7:30 pm, so the sun was starting to set. it looks sort of boring in color (mostly greens and a muddy river) but in B&W it really shines.

I cant seem to find a page that describes it, so i'll explain it:

1: take any color photo

2: add a Hue/Sat Adjustment layer, leave it how it is

3: add a second Hue/Sat adjustment layer, and bring the saturation down to 0

You now have a B&W photo..

4: Go back to your first adjustment layer, and slide the Hue slider around.. the look of the photo will totally change depending on where you are in the slider range.

thats it :)
