After buying a 6x8 Wacom tablet over 2 months ago, I finally got it out of the box to explore. Previously having computer problems and eventually buying a new one and now run dual monitors (that's another thread), it seems as though the Wacom is now a dual screen Wacom. I haven't used it enough to know if this is really going to bug me or not. First impression is that I don't like that combination. I'm going to like the Wacom, but not the split screen.

Am I going to have to live with this if I continue to run dual monitors or do I need to run one monitor while working on photos. Kind of defeats the whole purpose if I do.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,

You can change the mapping but not the split. I have had mine working thus way for over a year and its the best in my book. You will easily in a short time come to like it.

Hi John,
What do you mean by mapping?
I'm sure I'll like it just fine.

My other problem is that I'm using a 19" LCD as #1 and a 19" CRT as #2. I REALLY wish that the LCD was good for photos!! It's much nicer to look at. My CRT looks dirty compared to the LCD. I thought that the CRT was off, even after being calibrated. It's almost dead on with the color of my printed photos, it's just not as nice to look at as the LCD.
Thanks,
Don

I run the same setup with a 6x8 wacom over 2 monitors (actually its three monitors). But Its actually more useful that way, because I have my pallets on one monitor and the image on the main monitor - and I can just use the pen for everything.

Thanks John,
I've been known to just dive in without reading the manual first!!
That helped a lot.
