Which program for VR's

I can't find any program for windows that will make the VR files that play in quicktime. Does anyone know of any software for this. I assume something like QuickTime VR Authoring Studio but for windows.

Try the Panorama Factory (www.panoramafactory.com $35US shareware).

A company called "VR Toolbox" (www.vrtoolbox.com) makes good sofrtware very similar to QT authoring Studio, but it's available cross platform.

it is available for both mac and PC
you have to allready have the long stitched together image then rotate it 90 CCW

instructions are with it

the best PC software for panos is here:

these are also the most dificult to learn but allow you to do full 360 images up and down

For fully spherical it is(Dersch's software) for most other stuff it isn't worth the time. If you're pushed you can actually shoot a fully cylindrical pano with one shot - there are lenses that allow this:

one by http://WWW.cyclovision.com they charge per shot so beware another such lense is Hungarian... http://www.tateyama.hu/products/pal360/index.en.php I haven't a clue how you're meant to buy it but the samples on their site are credible, there is also a French lense that will do this but I haven't a clue where it is sold.
