Bees...better, but...

You are using the paper diffuser generally at 1/250 ranging from f11 to f16 with the internal flash on full power ( I assume manual full power).
I need you to lift my spirits. I missed UPS with my 105 macro and
SB800 on Friday -sigh!. I want to be doing similar shots. Please
explain how you did the manual focus. Did you set distance and
rock the camera. What flash and settings.

Great shots. Really inspiring.

This lens only goes to 1:2 without help....usually I set it for
that and rock back and forth....I use the internal flash on full
power and the method of Davexl with a paper diffuser

Yes.....you got it......full power on the flash.....you can tell if you got a good exposure by watching the histogram.........thanks for commenting....:-) M
