Lost a Big part of my life today

Billy:

I am very sorry for your loss of Jed. He certainly looks like he
was a wonderful fellow.

I can understand your feelings; as, two weeks ago, we lost a pet
who was born in our bedroom some 18 years ago.

Cliff
Sorry for your loss too cliff as hard as it is when you look back
on it its all worth it 18years wow what pet was it. thanks cliff
Thanks to you also Billy. Our recent loss, "Petster", was a persian cat. We used to be breed persians for show. Petster had, many years ago, been Cats Magazine's Kitten of the Year, as the highest scoring show kitten in the US and Canada. She was the last of our show cats, as we had stopped breeding 14 years ago. However, we were very blessed to have her this long, as she had been suffering from cancer for the past 8 years. Luckily, and surprisingly, she was very active, until the day before she died.

Like most pet lovers, we will probably never be without animals in the house. We presently have a standard poodle, that we adopted from a resue agency; and, we are about to adopt a second.

I am sure that Jed has left you with many wonderful memories, that you get to carry with you forever.

God i am lost.
It's so true, both that line above as well as your subject line.

I lost my Mighty Joe Young -- my twelve year old pit bull -- on the 4th of July, 1998, and I still think of him often. Your tears will soon turn to fond memories. I think of Joe now and I smile (but still get a lump in my throat...).

I am so sorry. As with others who've posted, I can really feel the heartsick pain that comes with losing a beloved pet.

I lost my 15-year old Bubby (part lab/part samoyed) last November. One of the hardest things was the need to comfort the remaining dog who grew up under her watch. He thought the world revolved around Bubby. But so did I, I guess.

Glad you have some photos - they help alot.

Best to you -
Janet

Billy, sorry to hear about your profound loss. At least you know that he is at peace.

Last December in Michigan, my 10 yr old cat, Pretty Kitty, went "missing," which she has never done before. As the snow and cold closed in over several days, I constantly combed the neighborhood, calling her name and hoping that I could hear her if she was trapped somewhere and maybe hurt, but not dead.

After a week I had just about given up, when she appeared, quite the worse for wear, on our patio one morning. I was so happy to see her and learn at the vets that she didn't have anything broken bones or organ damage.

I'll never know exactly what happened to her, but it was agonizing to have the possibilities go through my mind, day after day.

I think that after a little time, a puppy will help bring joy back to your life.
Ruth

You can see by the look in her eyes that she probably wouldn't have told me the whole story even if she could talk.
