I'm still reletively new to all this, learning the camera and then the software so bare with me.

Is it possible to print off two different pictures on the same 8.5 x 11 sheet? I like the 5x7 size and want to print off two different pictures at the same time. If not do I have to waste two 1/2 sheets to print the two different pictures? Is there a way to reuse the other half of the paper. I know I can print the same print in many different sizes to fill the sheet but hey, my sister only wants so many pictures of my kids. hahaha

Any help is appreciated, thanks

Susan......if you have Photo Deluxe or comparable software you can choose paper size in your "print" setup. Choose "statement" size for 5x7 and orient or rotate your image to fit and print (one print of one image). Dav.

Yes it is possible. There are different softwares that do that. I use (and like very much) Qimage. you can download a trial version at
http://www.charm.net/~mchaney/imaging/index.html

But of course you won´t be able to print 2 5x7 on a 8.5 x 11 paper.

I've printed two 5x7 on a 8.5x11 sheet many times using Qimage.

Eduardo,

I've got both Photoshop and MGI Photosuite. Why can't I fit the 2 5x7 on the one page? Is there a edge or border when printing that takes up space? I figure horizonal pictures 7" across and 10 down? I'm using an Epson 875DC I haven't done a lot of printing yet.

If you can't figure out how to get your software to print 2 pictures on one page, the just print one photo on the bottom half of the page. After the print comes out turn the paper around and hit print again.

I apologize. I am at work right now and when I wrote the message somebody was talking to me so I got distracted.
Of course you can fit 2 5x7 on one page.
I am sorry for that stupid mistake.

I use two different methods to accomplish what you want. First is QImage, this software is $30 or $35 and will do exactly what you want as well as produce proof sheets of the pictures for you. You arrange the sizes that you want. Second method--if your computer came with a copy of Microsoft Publisher, you can insert the photos onto a page and size them however you like. I like to use this when I want to print a page for the family and add text to the page also. Once the picture is on the page you can select the picture and then crop if needed. Both work well but the QImage takes less effort on your part as it is "slick".
