Any images uploaded by a user remain the property of that user or whatever party holds the copyright.

By uploading images, a user does not surrender his/her copyright or ownership of the images.

and direct linking is allowed
Whats a ts and a cs. Explain for everybody please.
Thanks

I realy like it when I find guys like you willing to help others without any personal intrest. Personaly a don't care if someone take my pict. and printed at home. That means that he realy likes my work and I should be proud of this. What?... do we have to call our lawers now?
Nobody force anybody to post or not. Is our decision.
Good start.

many sites exist for the purpose of building up a library of stock images which they then sell. only by having t's and c's that favor the photographer can you protect yourself.

it's important.

(i'm not saying that the poster of this site is trying to any such thing, i'm just asking the question ;-) )

if you are concern about copyrights, you are always welcome to watermark your photos before uploading them. I created this site to provide a FREE photo gallery where people can view each other's work and since I own a hosting company I can afford to provide this for free.

first click on the album category then you have to create your own nested album. after that, use the pull down menu on the top right and choose upload photos. I may add an 'add photos' button tommorow is this makes it any easier.

I see that you are using "Gallery", does that mean that I can use "Gallery Remote" to upload my pictures? I currently use Gallery too, but with close to 3000 pictures on my website, I have used up my 500mb. And I have just gotten started too... This is a better way for me to share my sports pictures with the teams and family that I don't have to worry about running out of room. Can your server handle to requirements and bandwidth that will be needed? Is there a backup done? Are you going to allow nude pictures to be uploaded? (I have kids that look at my pictures and I don't want parents to worry about them having access to porno or nude "art" from my gallery server.)

You are more than generous for providing this opportunity for photographers to share their pictures! Thanks...

to view the works of others (like pbase).

Next question:

DO you or will you: limit bandwidth per user? A "hot" post here on dpreview can generate 1,000 hits in an hour at 2MB per hit.

Thanks!

I estimated the server should be able to handle apprximately about 100mb for each member. If there are way too many members who upload much more than this, I may have to limit the space and bandwidth someday. Please only upload recent pictures you want to show people. For now, I do not allow any nudity, but if the demand for glamour photography albums, I may create a different album category.

I may have to limit the badwidth someday if the demand for badwidth and space exceeded my expectation, but for hotlinks to this forum, you can always link the resized, smaller image.
