Bryan Peterson (Understanding Exposure)

Yes -- Also, I believe a new edition is coming out in a couple of months that will also address digital cameras specifically (the original version is somewhat dated, although the fundamental information in it is timeless).

Is this the book everyone has been recommending?

Just wanted to make sure I picked up the right book!
Yes, that's one of the books most commonly recommended on this
site. I've just been reading it myself and I think it's
excellent. It's made a lot of things 'click' for me that I didn't
entirely grasp before.

There may be two versions of this book floating around, the film version from several years ago (which is what most of us have used) and an updated version that was (or will be) released this year. I imagine the newer one just adds some stuff to bring the book up to the digital age, hopefully it is as good as the original.

Bryan teaches an online course called "Understanding Exposure" with
http://www.betterphoto.com which I loved...........Hendon
I'm thinking about one of these courses. I guess you would recommend it!! What do you think are the good and bad points of the course having done one? Would you do another one from this company?

Thanks,

James
