I am the owner of an Nikon FM2 SLR.....I am thinking about picking up a FM10, is this camera as much of a work horse as the FM2? The FM2 has served me very well for the past 10 years. I am sure the FM2 lenes will all fit the FM10. I was wondering if anyone had any input on that subject matter. I am think from everything that I have read on the subject that the two cameras are just about the same thing.

Hate to have to tell you this. But I don't think those cameras are digital ;-)

You might want to check th Nikon SLR forum anyway. i'm sure there are ppl in that forum that can point you in the right direction.

I know this isn't about Digital but...

Don't buy it if you want a rugged camera. I had one for about a month before it went up on eBay. In my opinion, this does not have the feel or quality of a Nikon FM2. I've been told these non Japanese models (FM10, N60, N65,etc) are outsourced to another company. If you're looking for a lightweight camera to carry around, these are inexpensive and take good pictures. It appears to be all plastic (including the lens mount). I would not trust the tripod adapter to hold the wieght of a long lens. Even my 80-200 zoom was questionable. Hope this helps.

Chuck,

Nikon recently announced the new FM3A. It seems to be an updated FM2. You can check it out at this link:
