Hi Petra;
You have done a good job of your web page. The only thing I would change only because it's my preference here, is the links being opened in a separate window instead of within your web page. This is my preference here and maybe you and the others viewers prefer it this way. Again start to your web page.

Hi Petra;
I think if you open up the photo album in a separate window and use the left and right arrow to maneuver would be fine. Then just allows the viewer to close the window would be fine. This way the the original framed web page will then come up as the previously opened window.
I like using frame like you have done to navigate faster. I was wondering, how much web space do your ISP give you here? Mu ISP only give me 65 MB of web space. I haven't got my up and going yet.

My webspace is a mystery, I think I have 25 MB officially, but i haven't paid for my web space since the guy owning the ISP is an old school mate of mine. I recall him saying "how much do you need?" when I asked how much space I'd have... so I guess it's unlimited more than just 25 MB. :-D

Although I still have some anxiety on how to solve the problem with putting up all the photo's I've got scattered around the Internet (Photopoint, Zing etc). I'm almost thinking of picking out just the very best and then resize them into a new format.... but then I have anxiety about that, it'll take forever I've taken close to 4.000 photo's so far and some I didn't name with the original files on those Internet albums... gonna be "fun" to find them again... hehehe.
I'm preparing for the huge work now... need to find an easy way to do it once I'm done with the main layout for the web page.... then adding new pictures should be easy... I hope. :-D

Your site has captured the beauty and elegance show in your photography. You have a gift and it's awfully nice of you to share it with us. What software did you use for the pano's, did you have to stitch frames together. Keep up the good work!

Great homepage & photos, but then we always get a class act from you. The only thing I would like to see changed would be slightly larger thumbs. My old eyes don't see those little images that good on a 19" at 1280x960 anymore.

I haven't had much time to get on the forum this week but I'm on tonight for a little while. Very nice homepage. Very clean and easy to navigate and also some very nice pictures. On the 'About Me" page you look pretty young for a gal just short of 40. ;-)

I did handstitch the panoramas because I didn't manage to get the tripod level. I don't have a fancy panohead so I was winging it... which didn't pay off since I had to spend many hours trying to get it to work in Photoshop. I can't wait to see what Photoshop Elements has to offer when it comes to stitching photos and blend colors (sunrises are a pain btw).

I use 1024x768 (on my 20" monitor I use 1152x864). I'll see if I can find some software that make the thumbnails automatically in a larger size, but I think this is gonna be it..... unfortuneatly. I don't fancy doing too much manual labor so action etc will be the trick.

No aliasing here on the title. I like the clean layout. Only thing I would do is add more black space on the sides of the lettering in the black panel on the left. Maybe add some white down the very left side of the black panel. Dont knowi if you had the large pics up yet but nothing loaded in the popup window when i clicked on the thumbnail.
Hmmmmm.... wierd. Although I did some uploading yesterday so you could have hit it at that time... maybe it was just a bad connection or you have JavaScript disabled?

Very well done. I like the simple, classic styling that matches the feel of the photos. It would be nice to have some captions or comments that express some of what you feel about the photos. You just earned a bookmark in my browser.

Yes I kind of like them myself too. I'm a bit shy when it comes to photograph people, but with the svivel it works great (just need to get me one of those extend-a-view's).

Petra, very nice web page design. You have a clean design that doesn't compete with your photography. It was fun getting to browse through your images and remember all the ones I've seen posted here at DPReview.
