Has anyone experienced their files from the D1 getting...distorted ( kinda like a pay TV channel...without the pay!) on the hard drive. This is after they

have been stored , rotated or anything. I've even made prints off of the images...later when I look at the file again...A Total Mess!
It doesn't make sense...?

Crai,
What operating system (Mac, Windows, Unix, Linix)?

What application (PhotoShop, etc.)?

Have you scanned for virus infection?

Can you post a low resolution example of your problem?

Hi;
Craig;

Yes I have had the problem when I try to save all my thumb nail images at one time.

This is with the capture software only.The final images are distorted,if I save them one at a time no problem.
The raw images are still ok.Mac G3 B/W

Hi ,

I don't really have an idea how to post a sample. Some thing I have discovered...The card reader ( minolta scsi ) seems to have been creating part of

the problem. Since replacing it with a usb reader, I dont seem to get the same importing problem ( XXX fingers crossedXXX).

However, this doesn't solve why something I printed one day, is all garbled the next?

Craig:

Glad to hear that the Sandisk USB reader works a bit better. As I suspected, this problem may have to do with the fact that Nikon Capture is brand new (Version 1.0) and there may be a 'bug' in parsing images after they have been 'Mass Selected' and dragged to a folder (or to your Mac desktop) to copy them all at once. Maybe it is best to test if this problem persists after dragging one image at a time to a folder or in small groups of say 3-4 images.

Keep me posted..

Jeff
Craig,
I'm still wondering what OS you are using.
