I have been homesick for years. Used to live in the city. Loved it. Trapsed around for several days after a ceremony upstate.

Makes me homesick. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Champa,

We wandered the city for a few days after the ceremony. I really miss it. Had a chance to show the Frame in the city as well as West Point. Was offered a complete gallery on the upper west side for the Frames, the owners were so blown away. Cool.

I will post some pics from West point shortly. It was in a word, overwhelming.

I thought that you are from Colo or somewhere? Where you grew up at city?
Well... we hope you have good time in NYC.
We live south 90 miles away from NYC.

Have you experience in New Mexico?

We plan to go to New Mexico/Arizona on July 29 to Aug 5. I will pick my son at New Mexico Tech in Socorro, NM.

What is your suggest, worth to drive from NM to Phoenix on highway I-40 or I-10 or other way? Yes, I have been in Tucson, Flagstaff and Grand Canyon, before

Hi, Really nice, like the 45th st clock too. Oh almost forgot, the street dancers are something you don't see around here. now THAT must be hard way to make a living.

Ya, live in Colorado now. Lived in NYC for almost 4 years. Upper Westside. Did a lot of cool stuff in NY. Miss it tons.

Also, tons of experience with New Mexico yes. And holy cow... picking up in Socorro and driving to Phoenix... if you like not quite on the beaten track routes, I'd go straight west through Magdelena, towards Eager and Show Low, AZ. And if you are adventurous, drop down to Whitewater and the Apache areas. It is very beautiful, very forested which is surprising for some. And would suggest this route, straight west from Socorro, is equal if not slightly shorter then driving north to I-40 then west. It is very beautiful. And it si going to be quite warm that time, and ythis route is higher elevations and cooler. You would also pass the VLA, Very Large Array, the antenna farm that shows up in movies all the time. It is just a wonderful pleasant drive. Show Low is a nice place to stop if you don't want to make it a 1 day drive which in itself is super easy. Hm, I'll go with...

Anyway, worth a consideration imo.

Funny you should mention hard way to make a living. Was thinking the same thing when I took the shots. They were working the a** off and people were sitting on their hands. This was in front of the NY Public Library.

Very nice, David. Like the Chrysler Building with the modern facade.

Looked up and there it was. Hand held 24-70. Eyes were constantly in motion, looking for things. New York has lots of things. Posting more pics shortly.

The Chrysler Building is my favorite NY scraper - NYC is great for Art Deco fans.

Very normal for people love to look at skyscape. One of my friend found $100 bill on the ground near my feet. Damn, I wish to look ground more important than skyscape.

and you share the flavours 'on a travel' very well. The Chrysler building shot is wonderful - well chosen moment.

There is something substantial about New York, isn't there. Some things we make have enough breadth in them to become self-constituting. Maybe because of the ways they are inclusive.

Best,
