John. The salesman sold us this one for $1.95. I also see that on B and H's page they have a manfratto bushing listed that appears to be the same one for $1 more than the generic. The set up is quite nice and sturdy. No regrets. I took alot of time to decide but my Dreb advisors helped me out.which reducer was this?

i would like the same setup as yours for my trip to china in 2 weeks.
Thanks

leave the QR plate on the camera and use either the tripod or

Do you know it that QR plate works with other Bogan/Manfrotto tripods?

Dear Wayne. I can't tell you for sure . But the plate # for this tripod is the same as on the 484 ballhead I bought, and the same for the 3229 as shown on B and H's web site.

You might be checking the 486 head. The 484rc2 is cheaper and lighter.Set Up= Great for my needs and requirements. I'm not a pro, and I wanted light for travel and utility.484rc2 48.95cost in store monopod 34.95the total for all 3 items for me is 95.85 online. i guess instore

--I got the Manfrotto Monopod 681B, B for black, with a Sunpak ball
head. The Manfrotto head would not allow complete 90 degree
protrait-view rotation.
The monopod has quick release and is probably not the lightest but
it is by no means heavy. The total cost for both was about $75.
