I have just installed C1 3.5 and looked at a red geranium that was processed earlier in PS CS. There were some issues with the reds with PS CS, but with this image, there are no issues with reds with using RAW and C1.

Also, all other initial files (about 11) are orders of magnitude better with C1 than PS CS.

This is just a first look, and I don't have a way to post images, but it looks like the MK II and C1 are great. Try it, I think you will like it.

I've been conducting some of my own tests with DPP, EVU, ACR, and C1.

I had a picture taken in daylight of a close up of the rear quarter and tail light of my car. Both the DPP and EVU (especially EVU) applications blew out the reds with a complete loss of detail. ACR retained the detail but had a shift towards orange. C1 retained the detail along with the correct color.

I am however finding that with high ISO images ACR seems to do a better job in regards to noise.

Anyhow, these are just my preliminary tests, I'm still futzing!

Cheers, Joe
