I looked a lot at standard ball mounts and all most got one, then a
forum member on the talk forum got the Manfrotto 3265 and said it
was the best thing sense sliced bread... Well I took a look at it
and was just not sure, the man at the camera store told me I would
love it and it would hold the E1 and 50-200 with no problem...
I got it and they were right, I love it and it holds the the E1,
Fl-40 flash and bracket, and the 50-200 at any point I want. It is
very fast, squeeze the handle and move it where you want...... Let
go and it stays right there.

I picked up the new Velbon NEO POD 7 (carbon fiber) and the PH263QL
ball head (magnesium). Sweet !!
