Called eCost today and no date in sight. From early May to late May, now, no date at all. Not good...

They Called me too. Shipping today, I will get it the first of the week, Fed Ex 3-day, as ordered. I placed my order for it about May 1st.

They called me today as well, but I declined since I got a call yesterday from another dealer.
Onecall told me earlier this week they would be filling all of their backorders (as of that time) by end of next week.

Camera Guy,
I expect eCost to ship their cameras around May 28. I was told this in early May, and they did ship out some cameras in April but they only got around 20 or so (from what I was told).

I was thinking of contacing them today. I have only been wating 12 days, but just curious to see when next shipment is scheduled to arrive. They told me 2-4 weeks so I still have some time.

Just received from MacMall 1/2 hour ago. I'm pretty sure Mac/PC Mall and Ecost are the same company or owned by the same company. Ordered on 4/29 and shipped 5/20. Was originally told not receiving any from Canon until 5/27 so I was kind of shocked when I opened the door and saw the FedEx guy. If you are a NAPP member you can get the discounted price.

Interesting. I ordered on March 30 from Ecost at the exact same price. I checked with the customer service for the first time yesterday (I haven't been in a hurry) and they didn't have an ETA. They said that they had approximately 60 backordered and didn't say where mine was on the list.
