No not me, the picture! DJC's post for FCAS reminded me of this photo I did about 3 or 4 years ago demonstrating what a fantastic camera my 'new' 990 was... uh.. is...

Mine is one of the few models made that has a dress or casual mode that you can access in the menu.. :)

Aha - that's the one I remembered. Still think it's great.

my new D70 has a lot of programmed mode/scene.. but nothing beat your 990.

Do you think you'd consider a trade? I'll add some money if you want... :)

cheers!

Ha! I remember you posting the image long ago. I also remember totally missing the pun the first time I looked at it. I was too wrapped up looking at the guy in the LCD, trying to remember what his name was. I was sure it was some celebrity. It’s your fault Jarrell, you clean up too well!

The 990 is a piece of work…I’m still getting good mileage out of it.

The image would have been perfect if you were wearing sneakers!

There are some things in life money can't buy but you can capture
them with a camera.

.... I still remember my 995 with much fondness.. sigh Unfortunately mine didn't have the 'casual/formal' setting of your 990, in fact now that I think about it.... it might have been defectively stuck in 'casual' mode all of the time... ;o)

I also remember the days when I first bought that camera and learned how to use it through much help from you and others on this forum. Thanks again for that!

that is truly light and compact, in a hands-free belt pouch, and the 990 is it.... :)

dumb questions I asked here at that time and how the people here patiently answered each and every one of them and didn't chastise me for a single one.
