I'm still considering a tc for my fz10. At the moment, I'm considering the Raynox 2020pro 2.2X, Olympus tcon14B and Sony (VCLD???)1758 (the last 2 perhaps with pd62 from b-300.com). Does anyone have any input on any of these tcs? What experience do people have with b-300.com?

If you care about image quality, add the Canon TL-55 to your list.

after looking at all the comparisions here and on other web sites, I've come to the conclusion that the TCON-14B & the TL-55 (in that order) are the best. They seem to have about the same image quality, but the 14B has less vignetting. The TL-55 is lighter, if that matters to you

Lighter would be good, but the TL55 is hard to find around here. Are there any reputable sights to order one reasonably?

ebay is always a possibility, but the item must be up for sale (I do check every once in a while for a tl55), and unless it's a reputable company putting the item up (and hence usually for a bit more money), I get a bit nervous. My experiences (albeit limited so far) with ebay have not been overwhelmingly positive, and I worry that with a lens you can't inspect first, there may be some issues with scratches etc (quite apart from issues with the seller or shipping)....
Maybe I'm just a tad overly paranoid.

Has anyone got any input on the Sony tc?
Just got one on E-bay. Cost about $80 including shipping.

RWill:

Here is another approach. I have purchase 4 lens on ebay for my FZ10. They are older lenses, all made in Japan, in like new condition. One is a 2x with 3.125 inch large end, the second is a 1.5x with a 3.125 inch large end. I have two more being shipped to me. One is a wide angle and the other is a macro. I only need a semi fisheye to complete my bag. I paid only $10-$16 including shipping for each. The two lens that I have had for serveral months work great. They are a lot higher quality then the plastic Oly jobs, I know because I purchased a Oly 180c and it was pretty flimsy and too small, so I sold it. I guess the point I am making is that unless your a real pro and do this for a living, these inexpensive older lense will do you just fine. You can go to http://www.imagestation.com and check out my bird and eagle shots, all done with my 2x or 1.5x and you will see what I mean.
