Being new to photography, especially digital and B&W, I would welcome any thoughts on how I could improve the picture attached, which was taken one early morning in South Carolina.

I rather like the image; just a few minor tweaks that might help; see whatyou think:

1. PS CS: Used Shadow/Highlight tool to bring up the fog's presence which adds a nice atmospheric effect.
2. Added some contrast

3. Cropped a tad off the bottom; the apparent horizon line is at a more "golden mean" point and the ephasis is more on the destination at the end of the road...? Actually I cut it further as big expanses of asphalt are less visually interesting than the trees and fog.

4. Of course, I am a big believer in presentation, so the mat and title to dress it up worthy of the image.

All very subjective; again a fine effort and a delightful image.
