I don't know, Isabel, about the"not quite". I think both of them are beautifu. I am not a cat fancier, but I can really "feel" the cat's presence. It seems to me that you took what you got and worked it into a portrait.

Was trying to get the little guy in flight... just missed.

Didn't want to get too close and disturb the nest (well, -I- did, but my friend insisted that I keep my distance. Spoilsport

So, needless to say, I ordered a 100-400 IS yesterday (I'm gonna get the shot one way or another!)
