BF on the "Steve-Digicams" Samples

That's soo intelligent, just like referring to George W as 'dislexic' [sic], LMAO!

And I really can't help you with your recurring homosexual fantasies about me and the fantasy boyfriend you've invented. But there's probably lots of forums for that. Have a look through your IE history.

I'm glad you agree with me ;-). But it would be so nice to see you post without insulting someone - but then again, that's why you're here, isn't it?

Thomas.
I was just about to be very angry on myself for launching such a
creepy thread... But suddenly I realised that the squirrels like
you just make a big fun out of it!

BTW I agree with all your points - they are brilliant.

Kindest regards,

Dubya

P.s. Don't forget to whisper yer boyfriend some mean things and
proof how the iso1600 setting works by candlelight ;))

"Everything should be made as simple as possible. But not simpler!"

Tom, follow the words of the genius and try at least to look a bit more complicated ;))

P.s. Did I really say GW Bush is dislexic? THAT'S WRONG!!!

Just look how good he reads from the promter:

It's hard to gauge this without some numbers. For example, lens used, f-stop and etc. A lot of people who have been complaining about the backfocus problem haven't listed their spex or their experience.

I seriously wonder also if people just don't understand depth of field either.
Look on the lady's neck!

Are the Nikon guys really that dumb for not being able to fix QC?!?

Just shoot! =)

they wouldn't be able to nail focus with a different lens or camera..
Not necessarily true, as p&s digicams has such a large DOF that focus often does not matter. Everything is sharp :-)

Here's a clear sample of backfocus using a D2H. The problem here was a loose nut between the viewfinder and shutter release. That would be me.

I only had a second to grab this and I had the focus selector locked so I didn't have time to switch to one of the side sensors. I large bodygaurd was shoving me out of shooting range.

This is typical of the type of mistake that leads to most of the complaints I've seen related to backfocus and the D70.

Why would I blame Nikon for my mistake?

"I always assumed that you are on Nikon's payroll"

Shad, would you ever try to sell a "portraits" like Steve's to someone?

And: Am I missing something - again?

You surely remember my "consternation" after seeing the moiré dirt on Phil's eggy Mayor's House samples. Those were the days my man! And don't you ever tell me you haven't have your own thoughts after seeing them yourself for the first time!

After I listened to some imformed guys, not least because of you, I came successfully over the subject by learning to use NEFs with "Capture", etc., and turned to be almost a happy man who only expects some firmware improvements related with camera-jpeg conversion. In short, the d70 is that impressive, that I decided to live with this little shortcomming.

Considering your linked picture: You didn't make it for being a sample of DH2 possibilities in some million-hits-gallery, and unless I am badly mistaking, you didn't offer it to your clients too. Frankly, we all have lots of badly focused pictures, mostly due to our handling faults. It really

But do you really consider Steve Digicam to be that gutsy Wimpy for not being able to focus on the eyes of the portrayed persons - TWICE? I like the moiré-free sharpness of the shirt-fabric, but aren't that faces very blurry?

Please, help me get where I am doing it wrong!

Nope

If that shot was properly focused would you try to sell it to anyone?

I hope not

Yes based on that shot.
