Folks might be interested to know that there is a spate of comet activity that will continue through the end of next month for Northern Hemisphere dwellers.

The surprise has been the emergence in the morning sky of the "sun grazer" Comet Bradfield C/2004 F4. It was discovered by the prolific Australian comet hunter William Bradfield, and it's his 18th. On the morning of the 24th, the comet sported an elegant tail some 12 degrees long. Since comets do not exhibit much in the way of long wavelenghts, the Rebel recorded the scene rather naturally.
