A couple of my first shots with my new FZ10

Before I bought this cam I owned a Canon Powershot A40, used it only for point and shoot. This summer I'm planning to shoot some aircraft, so I gave myself a present and bought the FZ10, a black one of course !

I'm waiting for a 256Mb card to arrive, but here are a couple of shots made in my parents' backyard, first day outside with the cam:



Dove @ 420mm, handheld, cropped and resized. I need more zoom !
Full manual, F3.7, 1/1000, ISO50.



Straight into the sun. F8.0, 1/2000, ISO50.



Fishies. F2.8, 1/200, ISO50.



One of the model trucks my dad makes (scale 1:87). F4.6, 1/80, ISO50.

Nice pics you must be pleased .... but in this case i think your Dad steals the show, what does he make them from, if you'd been selective in the background you would never have guessed it was a model.

More zoom !! my LC1 (of 5 days) is only 28 - 90

Hi Jon,

He buys the model he needs in whatever color, the decals are custom made from him, then he uses his airbrush to paint it in the right colors. The wheels are done by hand. He's collecting models from transport organisations in the Netherlands, the ones that don't exist on the model market are custom made by him. I agree he's pretty good at it !

Mooie foto's. Dit is heel iets anders dan de A40 denk ik?
Heb je niet aan de Canon S1 IS gedacht bij je aanschaf?
Waar ga je vliegtuigen fotograferen?

Ik doe zelf vaker bij Eindhoven Airport foto's schieten.(kijk maar eens op mijn site)
Jij zit trouwens ook op het tweakers.net forum als ik het goed heb.
Ik ben ook nog maar een beginner, maar ik vind de FZ10 echt geweldig.
Ik heb hem nu bijna 4 weken, en ik leer nog steeds.

Inderdaad heel anders dan de A40! Hiermee wordt fotograveren gewoon leuk! Ik heb inderdaad aan de Canon S1 IS gedacht, maar ik vond de foto's van die camera tegenvallen. Heel veel CA.

Ik wil gaan fotograveren bij Schiphol en waarschijnlijk ook bij vliegbasis Twenthe, ook als is de activiteit daar afgenomen.

Klop, ik zit ook op het Tweakers forum. Ik vind wel dat men daar de fot's van de verschillende camera's té kritisch bekijkt, men verwacht daar dat alles perfect moet zijn...

Ik heb mijn FZ10 uit Amerika. (via marktplaats)

Ben laatst voor een tasje wezen kijken, maar dat ging nog niet zo gemakkelijk. Uiteindelijk heb ik een Fuji Finepix tasje gevonden, waar de camera zijwaarts inpast. Heb jij al een tas?

Bij de winkel waar ik die tas heb gehaald kreeg ik een compliment over de FZ10. Ze hadden zelf de S1, maar de verkoper zei dat deze echt veel beter is. LOL

Bij Eindhoven Airport zijn helaas niet zoveel vliegbewegingen. Ik moet binnenkort ook maar eens bij Schiphol een dagje gaan kijken. Dan kun je de camera pas echt testen denk ik.
Op Tweakers zijn ze inderdaad errug kritisch.

Ik denk maar zo, je moet niet zoveel lullen over de camera, maar gewoon kopen en foto's maken. Je kunt altijd langer wachten, totdat er iets nieuwers/beters komt, maar dan blijf je bezig

Ik heb mijn camera bij Progresss Automatisering gehaald voor €563, zij importeren geloof ik uit Canada.

Ik ben ook naar een fotozaak geweest voor een tas, er lag niets tussen waar de camera in paste. Toen ging de verkoper het magazijn in en kwam een paar minuten later terug met een splinternieuwe Vanguard tas. Deze was net binnengekomen en nieuw in het assortiment. De camera past er goed in, met de lens naar voren en dan heb ik nog ruimte over aan de zijkant voor de zonnekap. Past perfect !
